Driven by a desire to make a difference together, The Royal Foundation is the primary philanthropic and charitable vehicle for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Our programmes currently revolve around main themes of work; mental health, early years, wildlife conservation, and emergency responders.
In addition to these programmes, as the country responds to COVID-19, The Royal Foundation is working to support frontline workers and ensure that those in need are able to access mental health support.

"Ark are proud to support TechVets who harness and up-skill the incredible talent, capability and well trained and tested characteristics of our Military veterans and thereby enable a second meaningful career contribution to be made yet again by that impressive group to UK PLC."
As a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant, techUK recognises the unique skills and experience veterans bring to the workplace, such as teamwork, leadership and project management. Coupled with these broader skills, many veterans also have a STEM background so there is an incentive for technology companies to utilise these skills within national shortage of STEM-focused roles, such as engineers.
As a TechVets sponsor, techUK is keen to help develop the connections between our member companies and veterans looking to transition into a career within the digital and technology industries.
“The Veterans' Foundation has been set up to help fund charities and other charitable organisations that are helping serving and former members of the Armed Forces, and their dependants, who are in need.”
“The Veterans' Foundation raises its money through the Veterans’ Lottery and donations. To date, it has given £2 million out in grants to 140 organisations, many of them smaller but very worthwhile charities, which are helping members of the Armed Forces community. The charities and other organisations we have helped include those tackling the challenges of
mental and physical injuries, homelessness, unemployment, children’s loss of parents while serving and remembrance.”
“We are grateful for the public’s support of the Veterans’ Foundation and its Veterans’ Lottery, and we encourage you to spread the word.”
