TechVets, a programme of the Forces Employment Charity that champions the transition of veterans, Service leavers and forces family members into technology careers, is delighted to announce its collaboration with Alteryx, Inc. (NYSE: AYX), the global Analytics Cloud Platform leader.
Together, we’ll offer hands-on data analytics training via the Alteryx SparkED no-cost education programme, aiming to bridge the gap between military service and civilian professions.
This alliance reinforces Alteryx’s dedication to supporting the military community. Earlier, Alteryx partnered with the US Department of Defense SkillBridge programme, equipping a substantial number of service members with skills for post-military roles. Reflecting on his experience with the Alteryx SparkED DoD SkillBridge, Kenneth Govens from the U.S. Air Force commented, “The Alteryx platform’s intuitive design has been instrumental in providing me with the cutting-edge training, positioning me to leverage data for informed business decisions.”
Olivia Duane Adams, Alteryx’s co-founder and chief advocacy officer, remarked, “Our collaboration with TechVets is a step forward in bolstering analytics proficiency in the UK. We aim to address the industry’s analytics skills shortage while helping service members seamlessly transition into diverse sectors, from supply chain management to HR.”
Participating individuals can benefit from a complimentary Alteryx Designer license, guided interactive learning, and entry to the Alteryx Community.
James Murphy, Director of TechVets, shared his insights: “The UK witnesses a challenge of underutilising the unique skills of its Forces community post-service. Through our partnership with Alteryx’s SparkED programme, we’re committed to reshaping the employment trajectory for our veterans and their families.”
