TechVets is delighted to be supporting Cisco’s virtual Military Career Day aimed at supporting forces service members, veterans, and spouses into employment. It’s the first time that this event is being extended to the UK and we encourage members to sign up and share with their tech-curious networks.

This virtual event is for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses and will be hosted by Cisco’s VETS Employee Resource Organization. This event is in its 13th year, but for the first time will be available beyond the United States, now to include the United Kingdom, India, and Australia/New Zealand.
The purpose of Military Career Day is to help the forces community on their journey to meaningful employment after military service, no matter where that may be. This event is special because it is organised by veterans and spouses who have gone through the process already. Cisco’s goal is to share with webinar registrants what you need to know about the transition and provide a handrail through some of the confusion. In the process, Cisco hopes to highlight what work after service looks like and the many ways that Cisco values top military community talent.
