TechVets Shortlisted for Soldiering On Award 2025 in Education, Training & Development

Meredyth Grant

We’re proud to announce that TechVets has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Education, Training and Development category at the Soldiering On Awards 2025. This recognition is a testament to the work we do to empower veterans, service leavers, reservists, and military families with the digital skills and confidence they need to succeed in today’s tech-driven world.

As a programme of the Forces Employment Charity, TechVets provides high-impact training, industry-recognised certifications, mentoring, and job opportunities. In 2024 alone, we supported over 2,800 individuals to upskill and enabled 237 veterans to secure quality, sustainable careers in cybersecurity, IT, and data analytics.

The Soldiering On Awards celebrate outstanding contributions made by the Armed Forces community across the UK, and we’re honoured to be recognised alongside other inspiring organisations and individuals. This shortlisting highlights not just our training programmes, but the sense of purpose and belonging we strive to create for our members – a community of people rediscovering their potential and giving back to the tech sector and the UK economy.

We’ll be joining other finalists at a reception in the House of Lords on 15th July. The awards night itself will be held at the Park Plaza Westminster on 22nd October, hosted by Jeremy Vine.

Thank you to everyone who has supported TechVets so far – from our members and mentors to our partners and employers who open up opportunities for veterans and their families. Together, we’re bridging the gap between military service and thriving careers in technology.

Stay tuned for more updates and ways to get involved!
