TechVets has joined forces with Amazon Web Services to sponsor The Technology Business of the Year category at this years’ Heropreneurs Awards 2021. The Technology Business of the Year Award recognises the increasing role this area of operation has in the business world and how service personnel are at the centre of it.
It will be awarded to a business who focuses primarily on the development and manufacturing of technology or providing technology as a service with strong links to the Armed Forces. These technologies can include digital electronics, software, and internet-related services, so long as it is technology-led.
Nominees will need to show how technology is the foundation of their business, while highlighting the benefits it brings to its end users, be that in a general or dedicated market and will also need to highlight its links to the Armed Forces. Be it as a former Service Personnel or a dependant of a serving member of the Armed Forces or Veteran.
Successes to highlight on nominations can take many forms, such as growth, profitability, flexibility, or the ability to overcoming challenges with examples. Overall, Judges will be looking for a business with spark that have created something special in the technology world.

Heropreneurs is a non for profit military charity providing practical support to those from the military community to create their own business.The Heropreneurs Awards, established in 2018, celebrates the achievements of the military community in a commercial environment. Awards are given to those that have shown themselves to have a mindset that sets them apart regardless of size, scale or tenure of their business. The awards recognise those that have achieved success because of, or in spite of, their military experience.
