Colin Grimes, our dedicated Operating Manager, has been nominated for the Outstanding Achiever of the Year. His leadership and operational acumen have significantly impacted our organisation, driving forward our mission and services. Meanwhile, Rachael Bailey, our exceptional Training Specialist, has been recognized in the New Service Leaver of the Year category, thanks to her innovative approaches to training and development that have enriched the lives of many veterans and their families.

The British Ex-Forces in Business Awards is the world’s largest celebration of military veterans in the business community. Now in its seventh year, the awards aim to bring to light the challenges veterans face when transitioning to civilian life and how their unique skills can greatly benefit the economy. This year’s nominations were more competitive than ever, reflecting the broad range of talent and dedication within the forces community across various sectors.

Set to take place on 27 June at the Grosvenor House in London, the awards ceremony promises to be a grand affair with high-profile leaders from business and military backgrounds, including a day-long festival of business for the UK Armed Forces community. TechVets is honoured by the nominations of our team members, who serve as role models and demonstrate the high calibre of talent the military can bring to the private sector.

We encourage everyone to support Colin and Rachael by learning more about their stories and the significant impact veterans can have in the business world. Join us in celebrating their achievements at what has been dubbed ‘the Oscars of veteran employment’ and explore the stories of all finalists who are making remarkable strides in their post-military careers.
