April volunteer of the month: Graeme Manzi

Meredyth Grant

At TechVets we are all about community. Today we’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our volunteers & in particular to April volunteer of the month Graeme Manzi.

Graeme is a former Royal Marine, now Royal Marines Reservist who left the Military and started his own corporate wellness business before attaining a distinction on his MSc in Information Security with Cybersecurity with the Royal Holloway University.

Since joining TechVets as a member, Graeme has been extremely active, consistently helping out others in the community. When the opportunity arose, Graeme took up the role of London Chapter Lead before stepping up again more recently to manage the SANS partnership.

Why is he so great? TechVets CEO James Murphy explains:

“It can become very busy with all the great work we are doing at TechVets and having people like Graeme step up and share the burden has been the difference between good services and excellent services. Graeme has been critical in ensuring all the administration is in place, the selection interviews are conducted – and even putting on guidance sessions to help people understand what the training is all about, using his experience as a previous SANS student to help others get the most out of this awesome partnership.”
